Proposed Health Local Laws 2007

Health Act 1911 & Local Government Act 1995

The Northampton Shire Council resolved to repeal its currently adopted Health Local Laws and replace them with laws to be known as the Shire of Northampton Health Local Laws 2007.

The purpose and effect of the proposed Local Laws is to repeal those laws which are no longer applicable, amend those laws which require updating and incorporate new laws to enable the Council to better meet its responsibilities under the Act.

A copy of the proposed law is available online. Copies are also available for inspection at the Shire's Offices (Hampton Road, Northampton & Grey Street Kalbarri) during office hours.

Submissions on the proposal may be made to the undersigned in writing, at PO Box 61 Northampton WA 6535 on or before Friday 4th May 2007.
