Kidsport
KidSport will make it possible for Western Australian children to participate in community sport and recreation, no matter their financial circumstances. KidSport will allow eligible youth aged 5–18 years to apply for financial assistance towards club fees.

Tourism
The Shire of Northampton encompasses the popular tourist destinations of Horrocks, Port Gregory, Kalbarri and Northampton. The Shire is extremely diverse from the coastal lifestyle of Kalbarri to the heritage trails through Northampton. Tourism is a growing industry within the Shire of Northampton and one that receives support from the Northampton Shire Council.
Fire Notice- Burning Off
Permits are required for burning of bush and grass at any time between 15 September to 14 October and 1 March to 5 April. All residential, semi-rural and general farming require a permit at ALL times during the restricted burning period. Burning permits can be obtained from the Shire Offices 8.30am – 4.00pm. Read more…

Eyes on the Street
The Shire of Northampton is now a partner to the Eyes on the Street Program which is a coordinated intellegence gathering program to identify and record suspicious behaviour and report it to the Police.
