TOWN PLANNING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill this newly created joint position of Town Planning and Community Development Officer for the Shire of Northampton.

 This position is responsible for the day to day administration of the Councils Town Planning functions and Community Development role.

 The successful applicant must be a self-motivated and proactive individual who is looking at commencing or continuing a career in local government in the above fields. The successful candidate must also have well developed communication skills, sound computer skills and be able to work in a team environment.

 The position is full time however consideration for part time to suit the successful applicants personal requirements can be negotiated. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award 2010 with the salary to be negotiated.

 Position will either be based in Northampton or the Kalbarri administration offices dependent on the residential status of the successful applicant.

 Applicants are required to submit a covering letter and resume detailing qualifications, experience and including the names of (2) referees. The applications must be received by the undersigned no later than 4.00 pm on Wednesday 12th June 2019.
