A new round of exciting community grants is now open!

The Shire of Northampton Community Grant Fund Round 1 2026-27 will be closed for applications on the 30 September 2026.

Applications will be processed and outcomes will be received mid-November.

Kalbarri Library Lego STEM Club

The Kalbarri Library has launched its inaugural Lego STEM Club, kicking off on September 1st with 16 enthusiastic young participants. The 10-week program aims to foster skills in coding, logic, sequencing, and prototyping, inspiring a passion for robotics and engineering among local children. Budding 'Lego masters' have already produced impressive designs, with even more creativity expected in the coming weeks. The State Library of Western Australia funded the program through its Digital Technology and inclusion grant.

Tech Tuesdays at Kalbarri Library

Struggling with your smartphone, tablet, or laptop? Drop in every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm at the Allen Centre, Kalbarri, where friendly library staff and volunteers are on hand to provide one-on-one tech support. Whether you want to transfer photos, organise your files, or learn how to manage your apps, we’ll guide you step-by-step in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

No question is too small—bring your device and your curiosity! Plus, enjoy complimentary morning tea while you build digital confidence and connect with others in the community.
