The Northampton Friends of the Cemetery proposed a memorial tree concept, comprising of a large steel tree to which memorial plaques, shaped as tree leaves, may be affixed in remembrance of loved ones.  The installation of the Memorial tree at the Northampton Cemetery has taken longer than anticipated to finalise.  Issues relating to the design, supply and availability of the leaf plaques have however, now been resolved.
